"How You Feel Today"
I missed the photo post yesterday, it was a fairly hectic day. And it was also my Dad's birthday. He would have been 73. How do I feel today? Pretty sad, and very cross with him that I can't pick up the phone for a chat. He can't take my kid to the park with his dog or chat to my husband by the barbecue.
This is one of my favourite shots of him and Poppet. I don't have that many as they weren't together long enough, but she found him really funny. She got him, even as a baby.
Beautiful photo! I lost my Dad about 6 months before I fell pregnant with my son and the sadness at the potential lost moments between them is usually to huge to contemplate :(
ReplyDeletei agree kyra, those particular milestones are tough. my dad is ever-present in my daughter's personality which is a comfort though.
