I'm sure I read a book by that name when I was in primary school, but I can't find any mention of it online. There is one published in 2001 but I have to admit that I am way too old for that to be the book of my childhood. Shall have to research further as I remember liking that book a lot!
It's Fall at last, and that means Hallowe'en is almost upon us. Poppet has decided to dress as Wednesday Adams this year so we'll head out on the weekend to H&M in search of appropriate garb. I think I can manage some fairly average braids if I use lots of goop, her hair just isn't long enough and she doesn't want to wear a wig.
It seems fitting that I finished a custom order today which is bang on theme. A lovely customer back home requested a witch, and we decided a cape and hat were very necessary. I went for a Hogwarts-styled hat as it will be easier to post. Here she is, I'm so happy with the way she turned out!
What does October mean to you? Do you celebrate Thanksgiving?
We haven't adjusted to that concept just yet though we're happy to pick some apples and do some baking. We'll figure out how to cover our landlords' house in cobwebs yet again real soon (they never seem to mind) and it's almost pumpkin carving time as well.
Happy Harvest Season to you!
